Sorrento Lagoon Views by DAMAC

Sorrento Lagoon Views is a collection of studios and 1-bedroom apartments by DAMAC at DAMAC Lagoons, the Mediterranean-inspired community in Dubailand. The first release, Tower A, has 166 homes on levels 1 to 7, with prices from AED 672,000 and completion planned for January 2030.

Life by the lagoon

The brochure builds the project around water, greenery and social spaces. Residents get a lagoon pool with a pool bar, floating pods, water-based exercise, outdoor yoga and spa treatments, an entertainment hub, waterfront dining, an outdoor cinema at the community amphitheatre and a coffee shop. The community also lists wellness facilities, a BOHO lounge, a culinary zone, a leisure area, everyday essentials and social hubs.

Homes and starting prices

• Studio: 341 to 523 sq ft, AED 672,000 to AED 978,000 (138 homes in Tower A)
• 1 bedroom: 723 to 879 sq ft, AED 1,262,000 to AED 1,482,000 (28 homes in Tower A)

These figures come from the developer’s Tower A price list and can change. Tower A is a ground, podium and seven-level building; the master plan shows four towers, A to D.

Payment plan

The developer advertises a 50/50 plan: a 5% deposit, 10% within one month of booking, 35% in instalments over 41 months and 50% on completion. The full schedule is in the plan section and in the payment plan PDF. On an AED 800,000 studio, for example, that is AED 40,000 as a deposit, AED 80,000 within a month, AED 2,000 a month in the small instalments, AED 52,000 in month 12, AED 40,000 in each of months 18, 24, 30 and 36, and AED 400,000 on completion.

The developer says the plan is valid for 14 days from its release. Its notes say the 4% Dubai Land Department (DLD) fee is in addition to the schedule and that the down payment counts as 15% plus the 4% DLD fee, while the offer is advertised as a 4% DLD fee waiver. Location in DAMAC Lagoons

The developer gives these approximate drive times from the community: Expo City 20 minutes, Global Village 20 minutes, Mall of the Emirates 25 minutes, Al Maktoum International Airport 28 minutes, Palm Jumeirah 28 minutes, Downtown Dubai 30 minutes, Dubai Investments Park 30 minutes and Dubai International Airport 35 minutes. Times vary with traffic.
